Pixs From the Storm

One of the rivers
One of the large fields in town...now a lake in this pic.
Us driving through water on the way to church...really deep water
**
^Our yard**

This was right down the road from us. On the way home from church we came across this (not even a full mile away from our house), it looked really deep...SO we had to turn around and go the other way to our house. It took about ten mins. longer than normal to get home!

A Totally Natural Picture

Me, Alyssa 2 years (left), and Kaylee 7months (right)

Yep.  That's not something unusual to see from me!

Their brother Jesse (3years) was elsewhere.  They are awesome!!  I love all three of them very much!  They are so much fun to play with!  And their parents are also really nice.  I love the conversations I have with their mom, Amy!  I'm thankful for every moment I get to spend with them!

You are Being Loved

So you think love is only for the good enough
And one thing you’re never gonna be worthy of
But there’s a song being sung over you
By the One who breathes life into you

You are being loved
You are being loved
Right now at this very moment
You are being loved
You are being loved
Right now you are being loved, loved, loved
You are being loved, loved

You ought to see the smile
you’re bringing to your Father’s face
You ought to hear Him sing His version of Amazing Grace
‘cause that’s the song being sung over you
By the God who breathes life into you

You are being loved
You are being loved
Right now at this very moment
You are being loved
You are being loved
Right now you are being loved, loved, loved
You are being loved, loved
You are

With every breath that you’re taking
And every beat of your heart
Even while this song is playing
Whatever you do
Wherever you are
There’s a song being sung over you

You are being loved
You are being loved
Right now at this very moment
You are being loved

You Know What's Hard to Do?

Have you ever had to cook supper with an oven that won't even warm up?  And then you have to figure out how to cook it on the stove?

Yeah, It's hard and takes a lot longer than it would to use an oven!

*sniff*...*tears*  I miss you dear oven!  You always cooked such wonderful meals for the family!

Hint Hint,  Dad, don't you think it should be fixed?  :D

And the Answer is....

....  Ok.

I read this in a book I once read called, "Wake up and Live".    Some of you know this from the bottom of my emails.

  The translation is:

"Your own sinful inclinations, the world around you and the devil himself may all try to win your heart, but none of them was ever crucified as Christ was.  The Lord Jesus stands alone as being worthy of your love and service."

It's a really good quote!

Translation?

I want to see if anyone can guess what this says. Try not to use Google, Yahoo, or any of those search sites.

"Sus propias inclinaciones pecaminosas, el mundo que le rodea y al mismo diablo todos pueden tratar de ganar su corazón, pero ninguno de ellos fue crucificado como Cristo. El Señor Jesús está solo como ser digno de tu amor y servicio."

Some of the words are pretty accessible of what they mean in English.

I will post the answer later.....

Good Luck!

Fire and Driving

Saturday was a bit "interesting".

First, we sat around for the first part of the day. Around12:00n., We went outside to do some yard work. I cleaned the breeze way and the patio. Nathan and Malachi raked leaves out from around Mom's azela bushes. And Dad was trying to fix a water faucet outside. He had to turn off the water for the entire house.

We pulled up carpet several weeks ago. Dad lit the carpet on fire outside, and went to Lowes to buy something.

Still, no water.

What do you think happened?

The fire spread!

It was getting far out! It got up against our house at one part and against our air conditioner unit. Malachi and Nathan ran over with their rakes and me and Mom were with shovels trying to stomp it out. Nathan discovered that there was water in the ditch. So me and Nathan were running back and forth from the ditch to the fire with buckets of water trying to put it out. We finally got it all out, except were the carpet was. Since fire doesn't go over what it's already burned, we left it there. Most of our side yard it black!

The title says, Fire and Driving.
The driving part, well I got my permit Friday afternoon.
My only concern is that I don't hit anything....
